i disagree with the concept of “brutal honesty.” be honest, direct, and to the point with me, but not cruel. if you feel like you have to cause harm to get your point across, check your motives.
Hurting others to feel good about yourself is not a win. It’s a reflection of how you feel about yourself on the inside. You haven’t healed or elevated in life. You need to do the inner work to become better.
It’s not a flex to become toxic yourself or mistreat others because you’ve been done wrong. People that hurt others because of this, need alot of healing.
A lot of people are not bad people...They've just allowed their unhealed wounds to dictate and direct their life...They've become the people who hurt them.
it's a beautiful day to make space for your mental, physical, and emotional needs. it's a beautiful day to give yourself the positive energy that you deserve. it's a beautiful day to remember that happiness is an inside job.
your anger is valid. your frustration is legitimate. don’t let people discredit your emotions—by virtue of you experiencing them, they’re real. “positive vibes only” is just a gaslighting tactic with a pretty bow on top of it.
You go through things for a reason. You may not see it now, but you’ll understand why you had to go through something once you’ve come out the other side
1. Re-focusing on this blog! A lot of my energy last year went towards a very high pressured job. I am now going to focus more on creating valuable content! I find running this blog fulfilling and fun! So more of my energy will go towards this✨☀️
Taking a step back has really helped me see things in perspective. Sometimes the self doubt is coming from the unrealistic and high pressured environments you’re in. Do your best to not internalise it, and constantly remind yourself of your worth💕
When I was working in a high pressured, intense and demanding work environment I would beat myself up over small things. I’d expect myself to get everything right.
I would constantly not feel good enough and would internalise this. Now that I’ve removed myself from the environment, I’m realising the amount of pressure, unrealistically high expectations that was put on me.
