#SIF is becoming very interesting space.

First SIF was launched in Oct25 last year & we were in wait n watch mode for couple of quarters to see how story unfolds. And there are early signs that some of these products may emerge better than traditional MF . The SIF as category is gathering large AUM.

To give an example #Edelweiss ALTIVA Hybrid Long Short SIF which has product positioning like Arbitrage+ but portfolio composition is like Conservative Hybrid. And so far it is delivering better yield than both Arbitrage / Conservative Hybrid with Max DD of -2% . The performance has attracted huge AUM.

On other side of spectrum is Ex-Top100 Long Short which focuses on Mid-Smallcaps and Quant / Altiva both are doing good in this space, though early days yet to give verdict. Many launches are happening from different AMC and it will take another year for this space to stabilise.

For those who wanted PMS but didn't have 50L ticket size, this is good evolving space. Keep on your radar.
