@drewsbrewcrew@justinboldaji Never mind, I looked up these and apparently commercial dishwashers are *really* fast (2 minutes for whole cycle) so pre-rinsing is necessary in order to enable the ultra-fast cleaning / sanitizing.
@drewsbrewcrew@justinboldaji Then why are they even scrubbing the dishes at all? Even consumer-grade dishwashers are really good and don't require anything more than scraping, so feels like this is just a waste of water.
@thunderhorseDB@BrianLe_Blanc@TheStalwart Could be but you'd expect to see inflation also impact the other spending groups. I suppose inflation could disproportionately hit 'essential' items and thus a higher impact on lower income, but inflation should also hit air travel, vehicles, luxuries, etc.
@_artml_@TYOBoomer@treypicou@Nexuist If you watch a follow up talk of his he recommends against his own advice for traffic stops. Using the "I don't answer question" response makes sense for a criminal investigation, not speeding, unless you want a guaranteed ticket.
@catgirlprostate I literally live within 40 feet of an elevated light rail and I can barely notice it. Cars without mufflers + loud bikes + piercing sirens are a way bigger noise problem than a quiet rumble every now and then.
@myetcetera Why was your first response so rude? Even if your characterization is true, that's an extremely unprofessional way to reject a paper. Looks bad on both sides here.
@Instructure You should put a direct link to the incident update on the front page of your website or under PRs. There is currently no way, as far as I can tell, to navigate to information on this cyberincident unless given the specific "/incident_update" URL. Is this an intentional choice?
@ChappyChapelton@aakashgupta Because the courts will simply release criminals again and again until they commit a sufficiently serious crime (and even then...). SF must elect better judges/prosecutors
