@Tenymand@Snakesanapples@SenSanders That’s a simplified view of a complex economic issue. Finland’s challenges are widely linked to aging demographics, slow productivity growth, and weak growth since the 2010s. Immigration is often discussed, but it’s not the main driver.
@Snakesanapples@SenSanders Not true. Finland’s economic challenges stem from slow growth, an aging population, weak productivity growth, and structural changes in industry after Nokia’s decline. External shocks like the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine have added further pressure.
@WarMonitor3 Unfotunately USA has changed and this goes beyond Trump. Populist voices in America have become stronger and also support for them. This is somewhat permanent and Europe needs to stand alone and be the real voice of freedom in the world
@NateH8574@WarMonitor3 Like I said, it is not about money. People want to stay single longer and enjoy their life without kids and responsibilities. Not everybody, but still too many.
@Wales1646570@cihanblkr @astraiaintel If at least all European countries would give 1% of their annual gdp for Ukraine, this war would have ended already. So far only Nordic and Baltic states have given more than 1% of their gdp for Ukraine. Western Europe is still living in a dreamland.
