My mom left school after 8th grade and immigrated to the US in 1997 to give my brother and me the education she never got. Even after 29 years, she’s still learning English. She keeps a notebook of words she wants to learn. Apps don’t really work for her lol, but she texts me every morning. 

Texting is the one thing she never had to learn, so we built the assistant inside it.

Rules are simple: No download. If you can send a text, you can use it.

And poke texts you first:
→ "your amex autopay got cancelled. $2k statement hits june 12"
→ "your 6pm flight moved to 7:40. want me to push dinner?"
→ "3 subscriptions renew this week, $61 total. you've used one. cancel the rest?"
→ "you said no takeout this month. you're at $840 and it's the 19th" 

Every morning she asks poke for one new word and writes it in her notebook.

I’ve tried Poke, Openclaw and Hermes over the past 6 months.

imo 80% of people should be using Poke as a personal assistant. It’s the most seamless, proactive and helpful assistant I’ve used. It also has the best personality.

The other 20% looking for more customisation and tinkering should be using Hermes.
