Honestly. What does it take to host 2019 Pediatric Cardiology Bootcamp w/ 40 fellows from 30 institutions? Collaboration at every step—institutional, administrative, and clinical. 3 days of intensive education followed by 3 years of caring for children and families. @StanfordCISL
Not having easy solutions does not mean we stop looking for solutions. The solutions often involve courageous change that may rock the status quo. But the solutions do not have to be expensive or extensive. Small changes matter.
Combat "toxicity of expectations" on physicians: Dr. @ronepstein1 on small ways we can do in our micro-environment to make it less toxic. It could be a smile or eye contact, little gestures that become our daily habit that has positive effects on creating a sense of community.
