@clayandbuck For hundreds of years to come, historians and history buffs alike are going to be devouring the stories we see unfolding before our very eyes these days. Most interesting times indeed!

@miestfy@MaryLouMcDonald@jones91kevin Sorry mate, but there’s simply no coming back from what they did on October 7, 2023. Ever. And as to your claims of extermination? Utterly imbecilic. If the Palis laid down their weapons today, there would be peace tomorrow. If the Israelis did, they’d be exterminated, dopey.
@Gypsyrwc Nope. Voted for the fella three times, but no. Two terms are enough even though another term would be good for the country. It’s that whole rule of law thingy!
🇺🇸
@FreeStateColor1 It’s nonsensical. We’re too spread out here in CO for such a train to make sense. We simply haven’t the population density to make such a venture feasible. Too few riders per mile of track to support it. Let alone the waste and corruption that now defines CO gubmint! 🤢

In 2010, the retired Gurkha soldier was traveling on a train in India when a large gang of armed robbers attacked passengers.
During the chaos, the gang reportedly tried to assault an 18-year-old girl. Most passengers were terrified, but Shrestha intervened alone.
Armed only with his traditional Gurkha kukri knife, he fought the attackers in close combat inside the moving train.
Reports say he killed several gang members and injured others before the attackers finally retreated. Shrestha himself suffered serious injuries during the fight and later required hospital treatment.
What made the story even more powerful was his response afterward. The rescued girl’s family reportedly offered him money and support, but he refused payment, saying protecting innocent people was simply his duty as both a soldier and a human being.
The incident reinforced the global reputation of Gurkhas, Nepalese soldiers famous for bravery, discipline, and loyalty.
Rules for Thee, But Not for Me: The Left’s Public Safety Masterclass 🤡🍷
If you want to know what peak political hypocrisy looks like, look no further than Colorado Democrats.
Aurora City Councilman Rob Andrews (who, in a stroke of absolute irony, chairs the Public Safety Committee) just pled guilty to a DUI with a blood-alcohol level near three times the legal limit.
But it gets worse. When pulled over, instead of taking accountability, his first instinct was to flash his City Council ID to the cops—basically whispering, "Do you know who I am?"—and admitted on camera he was just worried about the public finding out. Then, his legal team tried to attack the credentials of the arresting officer. So much for "respecting law enforcement."
The icing on the cake? Andrews and his progressive majority on the council recently voted to restrict police from posting booking photos and suspect names on social media. Talk about perfect timing! He literally voted to censor public safety info after his own mugshot became a liability.
This isn't an isolated standard, either. It follows a tragic pattern of local Democrats expecting immunity from the very laws they write, just like the late state Sen. Faith Winter's history of alcohol abuse and fatal over-the-limit crash.
When conservative or independent officials step out of line, the media demands a crucifixion. But when a progressive Democrat abuses their power, acts entitled, and treats public safety like a personal shield, we're expected to accept an empty apology.
Andrews needs to step down. Aurora deserves representatives who actually obey the law, not elitists who think their title makes them above it.

As someone who covered the region for a dozen years for the WSJ, and reported in astonishment how even under conservative Pres Ronald Reagan USAID was funding socialist projects in Latin America, I can assure you that this is 💯 accurate.
Elon Musk used a joke to perform an autopsy on the American economy.
Two economists go for a hike. They find a pile of shit. One pays the other $100 to eat it.
They keep walking. Find another pile. The second economist pays $100 back to eat that one.
They stop. Neither man gained a dollar. Both ate shit for nothing.
But on paper they just generated $200 in GDP.
Musk: “That basically would count as a job. This is to illustrate the absurdity of economics.”
That is not a punchline. That is the operating system of the federal government.
Every time a politician celebrates “record job creation” this is what they are describing. Not output. Not value. Not progress. Motion.
The entire bureaucratic machine exists to manufacture friction and then invoice for it.
Compliance layers built to justify the next compliance layer. Oversight committees that produce nothing but the need for more oversight. Consulting firms hired to audit the work of other consulting firms.
Trillions circulating through systems that have never produced a single thing you can hold in your hands. But the GDP number ticks up. So everyone applauds.
The shit gets eaten. The scoreboard moves. Nobody asks what actually got built.
This is why Washington treats AI like a five alarm fire.
AI does not play the friction game. It does not form a committee. It does not schedule a review. It does not file 400 pages of paperwork no one will ever read.
It just solves the problem.
And that is the one thing the machine cannot survive.
The government does not tax results. It taxes the process. The longer the process, the deeper the cut.
AI compresses a ten day workflow into seconds. There is nothing left to bill. Nothing left to tax. Nothing left to skim.
So they will spend the next decade warning you that AI threatens the economy.
What they will never say is what it actually threatens.
The illusion that activity equals progress.
The $200 economy where both men ate shit and called it a job.
The machines are not coming for your purpose.
They are coming to prove that half the economy never had one.
For the first time in 123 years, Argentina has achieved a sustained fiscal surplus without being in default. We are one of only 5 countries in the world in this position.
LONG LIVE FREEDOM, DAMN IT...!!!

@ProudSocialist When socialists gain power in pretty much any country, one of the first things they do is the seizure of farms. Farmers who push back are summarily executed as socialists do not respect property rights, dopey. Don’t trust me though. Look it up for yourself!
🇺🇸
@cutiieepie6 Absolutely! Since the DOE’s inception, American students’ collective academic performance has fallen off the proverbial cliff as compared to other countries. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
