Benjamin Pavard is not expected to take part in Inter’s summer preseason training camp under Cristian Chivu, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The French defender is coming back from his loan spell at Marseille, but his situation is considered different from other players coming back to the club.

Inter reportedly do not see Pavard as a central part of the new technical project. Because of that, the club’s plan is to leave him out of the preseason squad and place him on the market.

The Nerazzurri want to find a suitable solution for the defender as quickly as possible, avoiding his reintegration into the group and accelerating his exit. The decision reflects Inter’s intention to reshape Chivu’s squad, including through some important and strategic sales.
