@politicsusa46 All sounds right to me. If we want to bolster aluminum production we should be targeting recycling—make it mandatory across the board. We throw away massive amounts of useable metal every year.

@ArmandDoma Unclear if the goal is to help US steel, or punish other countries (and ours by default). We should be targeting reclamation and reuse of metal waste if we want to help transform our metal industry.

@CoffeyTimeNews @realDonaldTrump If the goal is actually providing support to the U.S. metals industries, then the government should mandate recycling—especially in C&D waste streams. We have huge resource streams that cannot be outsourced. Tariffs will increase costs and deter construction spending. #recycling
