IF organized a forum on " The need to strengthen the enforcement management system and prosecution to revamp the existing sanitation task force/teams for effective delivery service". This forum was organized in Nandom, in the Upper West Region of Ghana. #HF4A
Under the Healthy Future for All Project, @Interforumgh organized a Private Sector Forum at the Nandom Municipality. The forum brought together private sector actors such as finance institutions, water tank owners etc. to discuss roles they can play towards WASH improvement.
The Coconut Groove Hotel Accra hosted a forum on incorporating hygiene indicators into national surveys by @Interforumgh and @SNVGhana as part of the #HF4A initiative. GSS, GHS, GES, and MSWR representatives were on board to offer suggestions.
Health professionals in Nandom and Lambuisse were sensitized on Healthcare waste management by the President of GEHOA, Mr. Paul Nutsugah as part of activities of the #HF4A project.
Representatives of social groups in Nandom and Lambuisse received training on the value of advocacy and effective communication. Their roles in evidence & data gathering, advocacy & engagement and monitoring & follow-up tasks should improve WASH service delivery at local levels.
Healthy Future for All #HF4A is a WASH and nutrition initiative executed by Intervention Forum with support from SNV in Nandom and Lambuisse in the Upper West region.
Official dialogue between Intervention Forum and both Assemblies were undertaken to commence the project.
