Here in France, we began today with the founding meeting of our anti-ballistic coalition. I hope that the FREYJA project will succeed and strengthen our anti-ballistic defense. I invite everyone who is interested and can add to our joint work to join us. We need to move as quickly as possible and do this work well. We can do it.
This project is for the next 12 months, and we also need to protect lives here and now. We have strong European systems – SAMP/T, IRIS-T, and NASAMS. And of course, the most important systems today for protecting lives from Russian ballistic missiles are Patriots. We need air defense missiles – this is a daily need, and I ask you to focus on this support.

@AVindman We’re still in Iran. Your statement is missing “Iran”. Two well-polished paragraphs from ur coms team is useless if you don’t point out that we’re still dealing with Iran. Every tweet should mention Iran.
I met with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, @Keir_Starmer. In Ukraine, we appreciate all the steps the United Kingdom has taken to support our people and weaken the aggressor, including efforts to counter Russia’s shadow fleet. We discussed this with Keir today. We also paid significant attention to defense support for Ukraine, in particular contributions to the PURL initiative.
Ukraine is ready for the next round of negotiations in a trilateral format. The negotiation process to achieve a just and dignified peace was also among the topics of our discussion. We appreciate the United Kingdom’s position on continuing pressure on Russia. This is truly important.
We separately discussed support for Ukraine’s energy sector. I briefed the Prime Minuster on the situation on the battlefield and Russia’s strikes against Ukraine. It is important for Europe to coordinate its efforts and develop a joint air defense system to protect against threats from Russia.
Our special format of cooperation with partners – the Drone Deals – is already underway with countries across three regions: the Middle East and the Gulf, Europe, and the Caucasus. A proposal is also on the table for our American partners.
This covers drones, defense systems, and other types of weapons that are essential for building real protection in the air, on land, and at sea.
Once again, the terms must be beneficial for Ukraine, there must be clear oversight, and the proceeds from exports must strengthen Ukraine’s defense. That is the way it will be.
The capabilities of Ukraine’s defense industry mean millions of FPV drones per year, our deep strikes, our interceptors, and millions of shells. Ukraine has its own long-range missile weapons. Not just in development, but a real force already at work. Flamingo and Ruta, Peklo and Neptune, Palianytsia and Vilkha – we can already be proud of all of this, but we will not stop here for sure. These are only our first steps – the industry will grow, and the enemy will feel it.
Everyone sees the historic long-range reach of our drones – striking 1,750 kilometers from our border. There will be more. And this is not about records – it is about justice that will find evil anywhere in the world. And our Sichen, Liutyi, Morok, Bars, Obriy, and FP are proof of that.
From the congratulatory address to the workers of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex (1/3).
