Many thanks @Intersections18 for hosting a truly intersectional and inclusive space of pertinent discourse that addressed often overlooked topics in academia such as mental health and LGBTQ+ and WOC representation! Kudos to a great lineup 💐❤💪🏾 #intersections18
ooh wait, before nap time, a massive thank you to @amber_lascelles and @Arththi89 for their support, encouragement, and fantastically generous and thought-provoking roundtable discussion, you're ultimate babes 💜💙
thank you so much for a fantastic day, and for taking the sandwiches and biscuits we may have frantically shoved at people, we'll have more thoughts over the next few days but feeling grateful, happy, energised, and mostly sleepy today, we'll be back after a nap
we can't thank our incredible speakers and attendee's enough, it was beautiful to see everyone making connections with one another and having amazing conversations. we'll be in touch with our speakers in a few days time to check in with everyone 🧡
@jaleesarenee @OcelotEducation thank you both so much for your generous and fantastic papers and comments throughout the day, hope you've had safe journeys home! 😊
.@Intersections18 has been a pleasure to attend - a sensitive, open, challenging and supportive space, and much discussion about actually doing things going forward. So grateful to all presenters and @yammatron, @adrm25 and Alex for organising it.
Alex mason shared a very good point on questions after the panel I spoke on today at @Intersections18 “first think is the question needed, and does it need to be asked by me” think we could all take that advice into life tbh
