April 2025: Ali drops the case. May 28, 2026: the judge sanctions his lawyer and orders $67,586 paid to Nelly.

In the video below, Nelly finally answers: "I think people were misinformed." He says the group had a bad deal from day one, and the people who negotiated it were Ali's best friends.

Ali's side: Nelly became a superstar on songs his friends helped write, then cashed out $50 million while they got no credit.

Nelly's side: the claims came decades late, three of the four plaintiffs walked away, and a court called the case sanctionable.
