Our Executive Director, @boldengdit, who is also the Chairperson of Jonglei Civil Society Network, issued a press statement this morning, appealing for an end to the ongoing hostilities in Jonglei State. This will then give a chance for nonviolent interventions.

We conducted a workshop today to examine the status of civic space in Jonglei State, involving various institutions, including civil society representatives, media, etc. Today's session dissected the meaning and components of civic space. We are grateful to @NPA for the funding.
