The CAG audit says the cost of building the campus went from ₹850 crore to ₹1,338.83 crore. In just six months.

What else did CAG find?
- Delay in the construction and missing documents

- Inflated bills for events
- Irregularities and excess payments of ₹8.17 crore

And look at how it was done.
Many similar works were split into small contracts, so they stay below the limit that needs open tendering.
In one tender, 3 agencies took part. Two were disqualified on technical grounds. Only one was left, and the work was given to him. Competitive bidding was ignored.

Now connect the dots.
This is a Central University, run by the Centre. Not a state project. And the audit reports it as the Centre's own money.
