@Devon_Eriksen_ Therefore Canada is the most advanced civilization in this respect as we use both systems for the things they each make sense to measure
@ChrisMartzWX AC is a must here in Saskatchewan, as is proper heating. Heat pumps aren't practical when you go from +40 in the summer to -40 in the winter.
@avidseries I lean centre right and am Canadian. I get the sense that immigrant groups that excel in the USA and don't do as well in Europe also don't do as well here, but our media is essentially bought and paid for by the Liberal party so accurate data is hard to come by. Any thoughts?
@wealthmoose I get whole Canadian AAA striploins for $29.95/kg. I cut far nicer steaks than either examples, but I gotta say the Aussie one looks gross with minimal marbling. I also get volume pricing much like the grocery store. That is a Loblaws ripoff price mostly.
@TristinHopper Last time I was in Ottawa was 2014. Kiddos mom ended up in hospital with pregnancy complications and I was alone in the dad waiting room with Justin Trudeau π
@AndyBrookeLmstn@albertachick68 How about those of us who work up north at a mine weeks at a time? Wait, resource workers don't enter this government's mind.
@CaryKelly11@Hoosier4Liberty I have gout. I cut out beer, switched to vodka and haven't had an attack in a long time. I'm a chef working 80+hour weeks on a mostly red meat and saturated fat diet. Just got a vanity plate to spread the good word.
@SamaHoole My supper last night at the mine was the melted cheese from the top of the Italian sausage penne bolognese and a bowl of fat trimmed from the top of the roast beef.
