@Inv_ViktorR Can I get you to sit by the furnace with me? I don't like seeing you about like this. The laptop's booting, we have enough time to get into some of the files.
Testing, testing. Hello? We're still alive.
Viktor and I are still in the cabin. It isn't a good idea to get too comfortable in one place, but Viktor couldn't stop shaking. Our cover is reliant almost solely on him, and it's a massive drain on his magic.
@Inv_ViktorR@man_holt37594 Oh, Vik. I'm warming something up for you. Eat. I'm working something that might help you- and I'm hoping these files have something.
We were able to get them.
This perpetual lightning storm is a massive drain on my magic reserves. I can barely move or think straight, but it is the only thing keeping that thing at bay. I just need to keep it away from Jayce…
At least we will not need to worry about food for a while…
@man_holt37594 As we can be.
The hack was successful. We barely made it out after, though.
I've managed to find a way to power the laptop using only Hextech so that electric *thing* can't crawl his way into my brain again. It'll work in short bursts.
I have an altoid tin with a computer chip in it, a half drowned laptop, and the Locket, trisected and thrown in a sack.
All in all, I'm doing pretty well getting what connection we have now.
@Inv_ViktorR Shh, sh, you won't need to keep it up much longer,
[he kisses Viktor on the forehead and tucks him under his chin in an attempt to block Viktor from the rain as he runs with him in his arms]
I promise.
@Inv_ViktorR There's a furnace here, I can- there, thank God. Here, in front of the fire. I'll reinforce the cabin.
Get some sleep, Viktor. I love you.
@Inv_ViktorR Not yet, you can't fall asleep in wet clothes, Vik, I'm sorry.
I'll set up the Hextech shield, I can get some heat going off it, too, so you're warm.
Let me look for a blanket.
