@_BrianThomas_@DarkMiner Wow! That’s amazing. I’ve been looking for a tool like that to track options and dividend income. Any suggestions on how to build one out like yours would be greatly appreciated.
@BoBbyPleWniaK Is your basic framework?: pick an annual ROI you’re happy with (eg, 20%), go out a year+ and pick strikes that will achieve that, let time do the work, manage if necessary, and don’t get upset if you miss more upside but rather be content you achieved your goal? Sounds smart
@DividendMil Looking forward to learning and growing as an income investor. Is there any particular place to start on the site, or just start digging in and getting involved?
@DividendMil I just looked at your site and it looks like a slot opened up. If I sign up at monthly, can I upgrade to annual at a later time or do I need to make that selection now?
Proud of my wife @JuliaBHiggins on the release of her latest book :-): Christ and His Bride: How Men and Women Tell the Story of the Gospel. Now available for pre-release at Barnes & Noble. https://t.co/dpEQ25TM23
@ScottRobo308 Welcome back. We've never really interacted, but I've always found your trading to be increadibly inspirational and educational, and more than a bit humbling. I pray you continue to heal and get well.
@DividendMil Very nice. I'm looking at the Institutional Edge annual membership. Do you ever open up to new "founders," or is that permanently closed? DM if you'd rather discuss offline. Also, is the Schwab to Excel usage mannual or API-automated? Currently with Fidelity but moving to Schwab.
@JoshTradeOption I’m still deciding which of your subscriptions would be best for my situation. I feel good about wheeling, but I don’t have any real confidence in buying short dated calls or LEAPS, or spreads on either side. Would you have a recommendation?
@PatrioticApe This sounds amazing. What would you suggest for someone who wants to learn to do this, too? Thanks (in advance) for any pointers you can share.
@DividendMil Other than using spreadsheets, have you found a good tool for recording and tracking both dividends (stocks; ETFs) and option trades/income, and track adjusted cost-basis with trades and distributions? There are tools that do a good job at one or the other, but not both.
@ms_roundhill@TuttleCapital@dividendvision Thank you for the feedback. I currently just use spreadsheets, too. But, with the number of funds I own in my dividend portfolio combined with the number of trades I take in my options portfolio, it’s getting a little time intensive to manage effectively.
@ms_roundhill@TuttleCapital@dividendvision I thought about asking. There are tools that do a good job at one or the other, but not both. 1 platform that would track options, dividends, and other income buckets (salary, side-hustle, pension and/or social security) would be a really helpful for income investors.
@ms_roundhill@TuttleCapital Since you do both as an income investor, other than using spreadsheets, have you found a good tool that will track both dividends (stocks; ETFs) and options income, and track adjusted cost-basis with trades and distributions?
