🇳🇬🤝🏽 A new era for Nigeria and a familiar partner is back.
After more than 11 years across two spells, Nigeria’s relationship with Nike is coming to an end.
The NFF have agreed a new deal with adidas worth $8.5m annually:
💵 $4.5m in cash 👕 $4m worth of kits/equipment
But this isn’t adidas’ first time with the Super Eagles.
They have previously supplied Nigeria in multiple spells including 1980-94, 2004-14, before Nike returned in 2015.
So adidas are coming back to Nigeria after more than a decade away.
The Nike era gave us the iconic 2018 World Cup kit and some of the most recognisable Nigerian football designs of the modern era.
Now adidas are back 🔄🇳🇬

This is a @KafuiDey appreciation post.
I know I’ve told you this many times, both in person and online, but it’s worth saying again.
At a time when so much of the media landscape is driven by sensationalism, the race to trend, and a growing disregard for journalistic ethics and basic decency, I’m grateful there are people like you who continue to do the work the right way.
You have a rare gift for making your guests feel safe, heard, and comfortable enough to share their stories honestly. That’s not something many interviewers have mastered, and it’s a big part of why your conversations resonate.
Thank you for choosing substance over spectacle, curiosity over clickbait, and integrity over noise. We need more journalists and interviewers like you.
