When I go to a major, I just want to see my old friends, try to make pro bracket, and be entertained by a thrilling top 8. The last part is out of my control and hasn't happened in some years.

@VinesGreens @JPiskopos Winning is fun, but if VIC keeps winning, that will be bad for the overall popularity of the game nationally. You can't win if your opponents stop showing up.

With that said, you are right that "git gud" is the only real solution to the problem.

@Radio_SSB @JPiskopos Learning is most effective when you're facing a tough challenge that's still in reach.

During smash 4, VIC was in the sweet spot of clearly the best but still beatable. Now they're so far ahead of other states that it's honestly demotivating.
