@grumpy_oldboy@SilentHill Sure. I get your point about Resident Evil, but I don't think the comparison holds up. I'm not saying every Silent Hill game needs to take place in the town itself. My concern is the franchise straying too far from its original setting. At what point does it lose its identity?
@grumpy_oldboy@SilentHill It really is the case that Silent Hill 2 has no connection to the first game, yet it’s still a highly acclaimed story. Why is it so hard for them to bring us a game that actually takes place in Silent Hill?
@SilentHill I know you guys are trying to innovate, but using the name of a major franchise and using elements from it to promote a game... I miss the franchise that Silent Hill was truly about.
@SilentHill The "Silent Hill" franchise really worries me a lot, mainly because it doesn't take place in the town, which is the main essence of the game. We had this problem with Silent Hill 4 and F.
