I’ve been reading more about delta-neutral strategies and it’s interesting how the edge isn’t really about predicting price direction.
The idea is simple: buy the stock, short the same value, and let the hedge offset most of the price movement while funding becomes the main source of returns.
For example, buying $10k of a stock and shorting $10k of its perp could earn around $23 if the market stays flat. Even with a 12% drop, the hedge offsets the $1,200 spot loss, leaving only about $9.60 in funding costs.
The strategy sounds simple, but it ties up a lot of capital, so the exchange matters just as much as the setup.
That’s why I’d only consider doing this on Bitget rToken. It’s the only platform offering 550 tokenized stocks, backed by dual licenses, broker partners, and daily third-party audits. Most alternatives either don’t publish audits, audit themselves, or only do them quarterly.
Great session yesterday! If you missed the live stream, no worries.
You can listen to the recording, where the team shared deeper insights into how Liberdus works, along with what’s coming next on the roadmap.
I only recently came across @Liberdus, and I have to admit… I wasn’t expecting to spend as much time reading about it as I did.
At first, I thought it was just another decentralized messaging project. Then I realized they’re aiming for something much bigger.
A messaging platform that’s fully decentralized, end-to-end encrypted, quantum-secure, open source, and even lets you send payments, all without needing a phone number or handing over personal information.
That really made me think about how much we’ve normalized giving up privacy just to send a message.
The idea that no single company owns the network or decides who gets access feels like a much more sustainable direction for digital communication.
Whether or not decentralized messaging becomes mainstream tomorrow, I genuinely think projects like Liberdus are building toward a future we’ll eventually appreciate.
Safe, private communication shouldn’t be a premium feature, it should be the standard. And that’s exactly the vision I see behind Liberdus.
I’ve been around crypto long enough to watch BITCOIN challenge the way we think about money. What caught my attention about #LIB is that it’s trying to challenge the way we think about communication.
I’ve always found it strange that we trust messaging apps with some of our most private conversations, yet most of them require us to hand over our phone number, personal data, and trust a company we’ll never meet.
That’s why @liberdus caught my attention.
The more I learned about it, the more it felt like a return to what the internet was supposed to be: open, permissionless, and owned by its users.
No phone numbers.
No central authority.
No single company deciding the rules.
Just people communicating directly through a decentralized network secured with both traditional and quantum-resistant cryptography.
What makes it even more interesting is that messaging and payments aren’t separate experiences. They’re built into the same ecosystem, which feels like a glimpse into how digital communication could work in the future.
Most projects talk about innovation. Liberdus seems focused on rethinking a system we’ve all accepted for years.
And honestly, that’s the kind of vision that gets my attention.
