Marcus Freeman was presented with a hand‑watercolored rendering of “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘒𝘪𝘤𝘬 ” — the moment that sent Notre Dame to the 2024–25 National Championship.

The piece was crafted by Notre Dame artist Jared Basker, and signed by every player who had a hand in making that play immortal.

Basker calls it the PINNACLE of his craft:

The Green Jersey’s were brought back as a surprise by coach Gerry Faust to snap a five-game losing streak against the USC Trojans.

Notre Dame went on to beat USC in dominating fashion by a score of 27-6!

Marcus Freeman has really built something special at Notre Dame. As 2027 4⭐️ DL Tyler Alexander told me following his recent visit:

“Coach Freeman has created an incredible culture within the football program. We had a packed itinerary all weekend, and he was a part of everything. He wasn’t off doing his own thing, he was front and center, spending time with recruits, families, players, and staff. Seeing how hands on he is and how invested he is in every part of the program earned a lot of respect from me.”

This is something you wouldn’t have heard from recruits in the past regime. Freeman has built a great culture that has recruits raving about it!
