Today we are celebrating the arrival of the new van!

We have the keys to our new Free Veterinary Clinic!
We had to leave our old one because the rent was rising every month and it became too much for our finances.
This place is cheaper and a good rent. It's nearer the city centre in a good area.We expect to attract new customers and its close enough to the old clinic for our old clients to use.
It has a good sized outdoor area as you can see, - useful for the larger animal visitors.
There is lots of work to do to make it ready for use but we hope to be ready to open on August 1st,without losing too many clinic days.
All our vital veterinary equipment will be transported to the new clinic.
Moving the xray is one of our biggest jobs - its one of our most precious pieces of equipment and we can't risk moving it without expert guidance.

We wanted to update you on our search for a new ambulance van.
When we began the campaign to find a new van, we asked our team to look for vans that met important criteria: 1) Final purchase price between €23-25,000, 2) a 2018 model or newer, 3) relatively low mileage, and a layout that could be safely and practically converted to carry our medical equipment and transport injured or vulnerable animals.

So far, vans within our price range are often much older, or have high mileage, or not suitable for conversion. In other cases, the van itself is a strong match, but the price is beyond our current budget.

The team is still actively searching and we are ready to purchase a suitable used van the moment we find the right one. At the same time, we are keeping the campaign open so that we can continue raising funds and remain prepared for every possible option.

We are deeply grateful for your support. We want to make the best possible decision as this van has to last us for a long time.

The moment we have news, we will publish an update and photos.

Hey @Siouxbear08, I do not know who you have contacted so far but I have written The Hemet & San Jacinto Chronicle, City News Service (Southern California), Press Enterprise, CBS Los Angeles, KTLA5, Fox Los Angeles, The Desert Sun, The Voice of the OC, PETA, Best Friends and Alley Cat Allies on your behalf. I have made them aware of the fact that the seizing of these cats is not only inhumane, behind the times, (Texas actually allows the registering of feral cat colonies to protect them from such barbarity), but in direct violation of their own TNR policies. I hope it helps. It was all I could think of.
