Somehow people forget KOC didn’t want JJ. They traded up to get him and he wanted to keep Darnold. Hence why the GM is gone.

They didn’t bring Kyler there to compete with JJ. They let KOC bring someone over he actually wanted instead of making him stuck with JJ again.

Kyler brought in as KOC’s guy. Barring injury, there is absolutely no shot JJ is starting week 1. I’d put anything on it. It’s common sense.

I just don’t get why. He’s only averaged over 11ppg once in his career (2024, 14ppg) and he literally never stays on the field. Now he has even more completion and RJ Harvey scored 12 TDs last year so why would Dobbins get red zone touches over him?

11.6 a game last year with more competition this year coming off yet another injury. I really don’t get why there’s so much hype for him.

Bill will be catching the ball this year tho, the team emphasizes it daily it seems and his boom potential is way higher than Rachaad.

Mason is also different because Aaron Jones is old and could be cooked so the volume might be monstrous.

I’m out on JK. Can’t stay on the field, too much competition. Harvey had the nose for the end zone last year and might be the goal line guy even when JK healthy.

I’ve typically sided with pass catching backs in fantasy, especially in ambiguous backfields (I think @LateRoundQB coined doing this)

I feel like a boomer this year for being in on Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Jordan Mason, and JK Dobbins in those situations this year but so be it

Luther Burden averaged 15.2 PPG in 4 starts in 2025 and now he goes from averaging 37 snaps a game to 60. Arguably the best playcaller in football continues to gush over him telling you he’s going to explode. There’s nothing to overthink here.

I wonder what all of these expert accounts will say when Luther Burden smashes this year after they keep referencing his season long statistics, even though he only averaged 16 snaps a game through the first nine weeks of 2025.

He averaged 16 snaps a game through week nine. So you’re referencing a sample size that doesn’t make any sense to reference seeing as though the team did not know what they had in him yet and weren’t playing him.

DJ Moore was making $20 million. Odunze and Colston Loveland are top 10 draft picks. Obviously, they didn’t know what they had in him yet but when he was put in a position to where they had to start him, he averaged over 15 a game and his efficiency metrics were elite the whole year even in limited playing time. Then Odunze came back and there were too many mouths for all of them.

He now goes from averaging 37 snaps a game to 60 taking DJ Moore’s starting spot and his efficiency metrics were elite.

Getting him in the fourth round is a bargain.

@DhananiZain @lockedonbengals @BengalsTalkSI I don’t really understand why anyone would target Iosivas regardless. He’s had plenty of opportunities with Tee out and hasn’t done much with them. Gesicki is who usually stepped up and benefitted in those scenarios. He’s decent in red zone opps but he’s just a guy.
