Family man. Like kombucha. Love to travel.

@united Another flight on United and another delay. This time a computer issue from IAH to DCA flight UA625. I long for the day when I can take off on time and arrive on time. Given I fly United frequently, this rarely happens.

[J.L. Berghout 🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇻🇦 @IronMilesTX]

@AlaskaAir are you referring to booking reference?? YAUIJA

[J.L. Berghout 🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇻🇦 @IronMilesTX]

@AlaskaAir poor experience flying AS439 IAH > SEA. In group D - told to check my carryon baggage & when I get to my seat, plenty of availability. Proper planning on your part would certainly improve your substandard customer experience compared to United or Delta.

[J.L. Berghout 🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇻🇦 @IronMilesTX]

@AlaskaAir - what confirmation code?? Not on the app or my boarding pass. Even more of a disappointment.

[J.L. Berghout 🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇻🇦 @IronMilesTX]

@united And you invite me to a private chat yet your server ‘can’t connect’??? Hopeless.

[J.L. Berghout 🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇻🇦 @IronMilesTX]

@united another miserable experience flying with you DCA > IAH. I fly this route weekly and there is always drama. Time to look for alternatives.

[J.L. Berghout 🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇻🇦 @IronMilesTX]

@united I am so sick of United. So many flaws - can you please stop this? Update passengers. Let us know what is going on. Don’t be jerks when we are frustrated. Don’t you REALIZE that when we fly it’s for important engagements in our lives??? Whether personal or professional? Tone deaf.

[J.L. Berghout 🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇻🇦 @IronMilesTX]

@ericlsiaka I am so sick of “Hi there, thank you for getting in touch—we’re sorry to hear about your experience. Please follow our account and send us a direct message so we can look into this and assist you further. We appreciate the opportunity to make things right.”

[J.L. Berghout 🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇻🇦 @IronMilesTX]

@ericlsiaka If it’s not pilots not showing up, aircraft maintenance issues, and your “new” aircraft entertainment system not functioning properly, what else is there? Why do you make your passengers suffer from poor management?

Thank you @vivachicken on Park Road for the free Veterans Day lunch! Very much appreciated!

NYC has had 11,000 Covid deaths.

Tokyo, the World's largest and densest city, has had 93.

NYC is locked down.

Tokyo was never locked down.

Both have had the virus for the same amount of time.

Why is NYC's death rate 250 times higher than Tokyo's?

Something fishy here.

This is magnificent stuff. The Polish chef wielding the narwhal tusk against the London Bridge terrorist. A true son of the spirit of Jan Sobieski & the Polish Lancers of yore. A credit to Britain & @PolishEmbassyUK. Authentic heroism.
