I’m a solo dev making an RTS where you don't build a base — you take it.
Capture buildings, secure your lines with towers, and push through constant enemy pressure. Inspired by games like State of War.

Speed control in Ironfields.
Sometimes you need time to read the map.
Sometimes you just want the fight to move faster.
So I let the player control the pace.

@KsNewSpace It’s single player, and the pause is completely optional. Without it, everything still plays in real time.
The focus is tactical decision-making, not 200–300 APM speed. It’s not trying to be StarCraft, it’s a different type of RTS.
Tactical pause in my RTS — pause anytime to plan your next move.
Numbers show unit assignments. Curious how RTS players prefer this visualized.
Still WIP. Wishlist: https://t.co/VN9goWYkAJ

@07kash_ Thanks for the feedback! I'm actually considering adding a text outline or shadow to make the numbers pop out more from the background. Different colors for each group are definitely on the table too.

@psergiomr Thanks! It’s grid based movement with a simple rule system behind it. The main goal was to keep units moving through crowded areas without getting permanently stuck.
