Year 1 have had a wonderful day visiting China. The day started with an 11-hour flight. When they arrived, they were given the chance to taste some traditional Chinese food, make Chinese lanterns, paper chain dragons and learn lots of interesting facts!
Children in class Lake enjoyed having visitors from Sheffield Hallam University in school.
They learnt more about the human body and had the opportunity to look closely at vital organs in animals. Ask them what they have learnt...
So proud of our choir today who brought a smile to the faces of residents at Middlesbrough Grange Care Home with Christmas songs and poems. Well done to you all on your singing, enthusiasm and care with the residents and for showing a true community spirit. @IronstoneAT
