Once Dabura learnt reversal and how to use a domain he was going to defeat the strongest adapted version of Mahoraga, this panel and narrative prove that. The fight ends with Dabura being unintentionally teleported out of the fight by Maru.

@anime_shots the whole point he even made the semi-domain was was lock mahoraga in range so he could one shot him with a reversal darkness attack which the narrative clearly implies during their battle before he opens the domain. Mahoraga was saved by plot

@elisisii I wonder how he would’ve been with Toji. Both of them think alike when it comes to battle, both of them are the only ones to ever defeat Gojo, and I consider both of them to be the pinnacle of both of their categories, Toji being non-sorcerers and sukuna of sorcerers

@ShinobiVaultHQ @dthnocommentary Most definitely, maki doesn’t survive sukuna just because shes “maki”, it’s solely because of her matured heavenly restriction of which toji also has. Toji would either perform the same or exceed due to his weapons and experience, however he’d inevitably lose as well to Sukuna

@ShinobiVaultHQ Toji. They have the same physical stats and that’s it. He optimized his 1-to-1 kit: more op weapons, barrier/detection bypass method, mid-fight weapon swaps. Whilst Maki just has the SSK. Toji’s setup allows more versatility, efficiency, and potency no matter Maki’s experience.

@AsarathaHS I am grateful that he is neither like Gojo or Sukuna. He’s not arrogant or cocky like Gojo and he isn’t a sadistic battle junkie like Sukuna. He has a noble goals and yearns for peace and co-existence despite his powers. He has every right to surpass them in power

@Block_boy0 @AsarathaHS You’ve gotta remember this is his starting point and it’s already rivaling yujis, gojos, and sukuna’s fully developed forms. By the time he builds experience, masters his domain, CTs and develops other techniques like black flash, he will have long surpassed them all.

@Its_Ray16 @borgirqing Most definitely. Toji has the stronger body due to his HR but overall he isn’t more powerful than what Gojo is, really nobody is. What makes Toji so potent is he can outplay his opponents because he has the tools and skillsets to make it happen.

@Its_Ray16 @borgirqing Agreed, but Toji is an ASSASSIN. They target weaknesses, study opponents before striking, and most importantly, DONT FIGHT FAIR. The odds are stacked against Toji and he flipped them in his favour simple as that. Nobody has a chance against Gojo unless they are Toji or Sukuna

@Ragnar_AY The funny thing is that I have no doubt that Dabura would learn a lot of techniques before his later battles. He’d be evolving his skillset during this gauntlet, especially if he learns black flash. If he learns how to do that and pairs it with his speed attacks, it’s over.

@KaKaShI1531244 She could but it’s more so in Toji’s favour by default. They are equal in PHYSICAL stats and that it. What Toji will always have over her is the op cursed tools that he PHYSICALLY had, he can fight both long and short range. Toji has more versatility, experience, and refinement

@Repsyzz @TrTriton0501 Agreed but it isn’t exclusive to just physical looks because with all your examples they don’t reach those forms without first building up power. These power forms can also be permanent with no toggle for different forms, which jjk shows through Gojo and Dabura

@Mo_Austin21 @TrTriton0501 To simply put, if Dabura had already fully mastered his abilities, why was he actively evolving them during his battle against Mahoraga. If he had full mastery he would’ve already learnt rct, reversal, and domain in unison with his techniques but that isn’t the case.

@Repsyzz @TrTriton0501 Rct, reversal, and domain are like power milestones that compound from the previous and signify EXPONENTIAL growths in power. That is why their power scalings are evolutions/different forms because yes they look the same but their power is growing in leaps and bounds.

I see a characters development as them evolving ESPECIALLY if they develop rct, reversal and domain. Name it whatever you like my label still stands
