And why would I even exoect him to do that? If he had the intention of parading Zimbabwean business success, there are many clean young entrepreneurs around the country who are role models. Not this Mbinga economy that has has seen these dodgy characters pillaging and plundering this country’s wealth.

@edmnangagwa has brought the office of the President and the State into disrepute. His arrogance of him imposing @wicknellchivayo a none state figure into the state is breathtakingly shocking. And around him at the trade fare with Ruto, there were no cabinet ministers; just him, Wicknell, his sons and dozens of security details.

No wonder why Vene rarely gets many African leaders visiting him, and even @WilliamsRuto was hesitant and flew into the country late.

And so @nelsonchamisa is right saying that; in an unprecedented way, Vene has personalised the presidency into a family joint.

What is even more disappointing is that @wicknellchivayo is known for a major corruption case trial in which he was prosecuted by the state and the President’s lawyer represented Chivayo and the state lost in a bizarre way.

Chivayo says he is an acclaimed businessman but he has no known business operations and neither is there any corporate face to back up his claim.

Wicknell is an intermediary tool of ED’s transactional leadership style. Throwing around luxury expensive goodies for loyalty; and fronting the Presidency in multimillion business adventures with regional governments.

And so by having Madzibaba Chivayo’s huge frame lodged in the state events in the presence of visiting state leaders; it provides leverage to the Vene business model structured and embedded within the state. Albeit with Wicknell networked within the SADC state structures.

Vene has brought the state into disrepute.

Where is the Minister of Foreign Affairs? Is this arrangement in line with official protocol? What justification is there for involving non-state actors in a state visit of this nature? Does it not take away from the stature of dignitaries to go about a state visit in this way? If there is an explanation, kindly share it with us in the interests of transparency.

As the Zimbabwean “Starlinks” are about to be deprecated in the next 3 days, and schools in rural Zimbabwe , businesses in Gutu and Chimaninani go back to the dark ages, I thought I’d throw a few stats about the worlds new Highway called the Internet so that our Government realises the grave mistake it made:

The internet added $2.57 trillion to America's GDP in 2022 . In 2021, the internet economy accounted for 12% of the U.S. GDP, growing seven times faster than the total U.S. economy during the past four years. The internet's contribution to the U.S. GDP grew 22% per year since 2016, while the national economy grows between 2% and 3% per year.

So instead of banning what’s is essentially a road to success, our government should have embraced the easiest way in decades to empower and uplift their people and economy.

Sadly, they are too afraid of “Tweets” that they cut the nose off to spite their faces. Even ZBC can’t use Starlink now, which they paid 1000% more for from Wethu in Chisipite. Lolol.

If I was in power, I would have not only added Starlink, but encouraged government to order 100000 units and immediately connect all rural clinics, schools and outposts. Set up hubs and every growth point. Put our national system to e~paperless and watched the citizens generate new millionaires and increase national revenue exponentially.

This could have been the new ICT ministers lasting legacy. But alas.

You know what I find really strange, is how these guys go through cars. What's the obsession with cars. They also seem to disappear kinda quick to. That signature range rover vanished. That maybach vanished already on a second one. G Waukn vanished.

Money laundering through vehicle sales is a simple process. Criminals purchase a vehicle with illegal cash and sell it elsewhere as a legitimate asset in another country.
