Sometimes I want to believe that the things I see on social media about the state of that country are exaggerated, but omo, I know people whose day to day lives are significantly impacted by Nigeria and social media doesn’t even depict half of it.

I read her story on TikTok. She was a beautiful lady, nothing was wrong with her before pregnancy.

She got pregnant and had a child, and suddenly, she couldn’t see with her eyes again, and next thing, tumour in her brain, all of this happened postpartum.

I’ve said it before (check my page) and I’ll say it again, I’m so scared of the evil that pregnancy and childbirth are capable of doing to women’s life.

Pregnancy and childbirth will forever be a life threatening condition to me, and you don’t necessarily have to agree.
