Please read.
Today is 96 days since I started HRT, something which I had dreamed of being able to afford to do for years. I have felt trapped for my whole life in the body/life of a stranger. I am very fortunate to have the support of my family and friends..
I’ve been to some very dark places. I joined organisations for the wrong reasons, abused my body out of self hate, mixed pills with booze, and hurt people I care about in moments of anger. I’ve made many mistakes trying to prove myself to others rather than just admitting who I am inside.
All this said I am quitting the organisations I never truly fit into & joined for bad reasons. I’ll be posting a lot less about politics as it’s harming my mental health daily. I am sorry to anyone who feels misled and I know most of yous won’t accept this. But for the first time in my life these past months I have felt hope that life is going to be better and worth living.
Please understand if you can.. thank u for reading.
I am doing great, hanging out with friends, meeting a lot of new people now and drinking a lot less and quitting drugs. Yes there are hard times that hurt which is mainly work but I cope.
I am just glad now to be open. 😁
Also doing a lot stuff I haven’t had the confidence to do like riding a big wheel or go to the arcade. It’s been the best four months of my life and it’s also overwhelming the sadness that I didn’t do things sooner, but it’s done now. Now I live..
I have had a name in mind for quite a number of years and it's one that I always really liked. My friends & family have told me they like it! I plan to hopefully get it legally changed in the near future. 😁
Wages make up an extremely small fraction of business costs. It's a completely debunked myth that it would cause mass inflation, it would only effect small fast food places or very specific small things. And fast food being less available honestly isn't a bad thing. And if a small niche business cannot survive a raise of what is the lowest cost for business then that's just the free market, clearly was going to be a burden on society to prop up.
@TonyMallon14 Basically cut costs for smaller buisness to allow for them to raise the minimum wage for people to have more spending money to flow into the market rather than money going directly to government bodies directly instead.
You can cut taxes & other costs on small business and still raise minimum wage. Our cost of living to wage ratio is worse than it was in the 60s, my generation will never be able to get a home, hard enough affording to rent one as is. I can work overtime and still have over 70% of my wage I get have to go to rent.
BREAKING: High Court says Belfast community group IS entitled to withdraw an invite to its own event, after realising they had been tricked by a trans hate front - disguised as “women’s rights.” Congrats @FeileBelfast 💚🏳️⚧️. Cue Kathy Beale curtains gif.
I said yesterday that the Trans issue is one that brings out the loons and the haters more than any other - the national question and legacy included. And boy is that evident on here today.
Particular shout-out to the courageous but anonymous men protecting women while hiding.
I have already explained my current relationship situation in the interview, "not that it was anyone's business but I felt I should explain it". It's complicated but Ryan and I are working through it.
These past months have been some of the most freeing and best months of my life. I have been getting out more and no longer feel ashamed of who I am, and I no longer get stuck in my own thoughts as much anymore. To say the past years of my life was a living hell would be an understatement.
I hope this answered some of your questions. :)
