On this day in space history: June 3, 1965.
Today we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Astronaut Ed White's historic space walk. White became the first American to perform an EVA (extravehicular activity), stepping out of Gemini IV and into history. For 23 breathtaking minutes, White floated freely in the void, tethered to his spacecraft and propelled by a handheld gas gun—pushing the boundaries of human exploration.
At Space Exploration Engineering (SEE), we’re continually inspired by moments like these. Every mission plan we design, every maneuver we execute on orbit - they all stand on the legacy of pioneers like Ed White—engineers, astronauts, and visionaries who showed us what’s possible when curiosity outpaces gravity. Today, we honor that legacy—and the courage it takes to leave the spacecraft.

Wish you were here!
We just wrapped up an incredible all-hands trip to Flagstaff, AZ — part team-building, part technical deep dives, and 100% energizing. From strategy sessions to spontaneous whiteboard jams, we carved out the kind of time that’s hard to come by in the day-to-day hustle. It's something we've done every year since 2021 at SEE and we see the value each time - you just can’t replicate time like this on Zoom. We believe that intentional connection matters — not just to align on where we're headed, but to strengthen the trust and collaboration that get us there.
PS - How do you and your team build connection? (And, any recommendations on where we should go next year?)

At Space Exploration Engineering ("S-E-E"), we've experienced our fair share of space exploration missions by supporting our customer missions in LEO and all the way to Mars. We're often referred to as "see" by industry colleagues, so this year we're changing up our business plan. While we love space, today we are announcing a line of vision services through "AstroVision"! Reach out today for more information! #spaceexploration #aprilfools #weretotallyjoking
Meet our newest team member! SEE is excited to welcome Isa Fritz! Isa will be supporting business development and strategy, and it's a perfect fit: she knows the market, the customers, and what SEE can grow into.
Welcome aboard, Isa! Let's do great things together.

One of the most popular episodes of The Space Revolution was @RocketRick’s conversation w/the co-founder & CEO of gravityLab, Grant Bonin, so we’re brining it back for the next 2 weeks! Tune in to hear how studying gravity is so critical to our ability to live off planet!
Flights are a blast. @AmericanAir delayed my flight 24hrs, downgraded me, & was unable to rebook my husband to get him to the same location on time. Customer services finds it acceptable to have us wait up to 20 days to get our money back for flights that never happened.
Awful
Heads up #Seattle: Join me & @IsaCFritz at @PacSci this Thurs, Sep 28 at 6:30 PM for "Science & a Movie" w/The Martian! The event will include a screening of the film along with a discussion with us about the science & engineering. Grab your tickets now!

Today I learned that @American_Girl has unveiled their new historical doll... from 1999, emphasis on HISTORICAL. I feel personally attacked 😅 and the hard part is they nailed it:
