@luke_bwfc@ultras_clips@firatguneyer At every English game I have been to, there has only been some sort of cheering for the team during short periods of momentum. Not when the team needs it the most. To me passionate supporting means to cheer through thick and thin. Not seeing much of that in England, sorry.
@luke_bwfc@ultras_clips@firatguneyer When I was there, Chelsea scored 2-1 goal in 86th minute or something. Half of the stadium left at that point. How does that help your team compared to cheering them and helping them get the momentum for a goal?
@luke_bwfc@ultras_clips@firatguneyer Of course not, because you only sing 5 times a game. What are the chances they are gonna score when you do?
Joke a side, during other teams celebration you don't have to sing and jump but it can also be a signal to your team, "now up on the horse again and come on".
@luke_bwfc@ultras_clips@firatguneyer So what do you do when your team is losing? In all English game I have been to fans have been quiet or gone home when losing.
@luke_bwfc@ultras_clips@firatguneyer I understand that It's hard for the English mind to comprehend what true support means. You know you as supporter can show your players we stand behind you no matter what, do you? How is moaning, getting quiet or leaving more supportive or passionate?
@luke_bwfc@ultras_clips@firatguneyer The atmosphere which is quietness 95% of the time and leaving when you are to be losing, when the team needs you the most?
Sure, then agree to disagree.
@luke_bwfc@ultras_clips@firatguneyer I do think the German fan culture can be boring and too static, not as dynamic as in other countries. But stating that the English way is better is just bollocks. You guys don't stand behind your team no matter what, you rather leave the stadium.
@luke_bwfc@ultras_clips@firatguneyer Yeah much more fun to sing same old five second chant every now and then but only when you are leading and leave the stadium when you are not doing well. Splendid support that!
