JUST IN:
Fulani kidnappers abducted two residents in Umuahia North and demanded millions in ransom.
Instead of waiting helplessly, hundreds of local youths stormed the forests, surrounded the kidnappers, rescued the victims alive, and captured all six suspects.
The victims are back home. The kidnappers are in police custody.
A powerful reminder that courage and community can achieve what fear cannot.
God bless Ndi Abia. But next time, send those monsters to heaven instead taking them to the police.
Wow Kaka 🇧🇷 is the one bringing the word to us today on the YouBible app .
Jesus must be seen . We will proclaim the gospel of Christ to the whole world . This is so beautiful to see as the World Cup starts today , a legend is bringing the word of God to us .
Several months ago, this woman slept and had a dream that she was involved in a train accident.
She woke up and couldn’t see with her right eye anymore.
This world is more spiritual than you can ever imagine…
Anyways so she came around to the Glory Dome on Tuesday & during the ministration in the name of JESUS by God’s servant @drpaulenenche, something like a scale fell off from her eyes and suddenly began to see with the eye again. God is good; He did this.
Personally, I don’t joke with 2 sets of prayers — prayer in the morning before the start of day and prayer before going to bed to sleep.
Many things happen at night when we sleep that we have no idea of but your prayers put the angels of God in charge while you are unconscious to fend the agents of darkness off.
Good news: Uchegbu Kosischukwu won the gold medal in the senior category at the German Mathematics Olympiad in Frankfurt, Germany.
She competed against students from schools across Germany and also from 52 other countries.
She currently attends Ambassador College, Ota.
What a star!
It has now been 28 days since the kidnapping of the Oriire children and their teachers, yet there are still no tangible results or signs of their safe return.
We cannot continue moving on as if nothing has happened, the way we always do. Enough is enough. The lives of these innocent children and educators must not become just another statistic in Nigeria’s cycle of insecurity.
We demand urgent, decisive action from the authorities to bring them home safely now.
It’s 28 days since Oyo children were taken.

Pls keep speaking up.
Pls share for the world to see this.
Today, we completed the high-speed internet setup for the Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural & Bioresources Engineering departments at UNN.
That’s full departmental coverage.
It’s free for all lecturers, staff, and students who are allowed in.
This will enable them to carry out meaningful research without friction and engage in online classes.
We will observe the experience for a while before extending it to other departments in the faculty.
This is my way of encouraging research and innovation in our institutions.
Today, we concluded another partnership with Sterling Bank to launch the Sterling Bank National Mathematics Quiz. A nationwide competition designed to discover, reward, and celebrate Nigeria’s brightest young minds.
Starting Saturday, June 20, 2026, students from Primary 1 to SS3 across Nigeria will compete online every two weeks for the prizes.
1st Prize – ₦500,000
2nd Prize – ₦300,000
3rd Prize – ₦200,000
That’s ₦1,000,000 every two weeks and ₦24,000,000 every year dedicated solely to rewarding academic excellence among Nigerian children.
But this is not just about winning money.
It is about building a culture where intelligence is celebrated.
It is about giving every child, whether in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Bayelsa, Maiduguri, Aba, or a remote village, an opportunity to compete on a national stage.
Competition Schedule
• Every two weeks
• Saturdays
• 6:00 PM – 6:20 PM
• Online nationwide
The top performers will then advance to a live championship session streamed online next day same time, where Nigerians can watch some of the country’s brightest students solve challenging mathematical problems in real time.
To ensure fairness and give more students the opportunity to benefit, every student can only win once.
And here’s what makes it even better:
Every participant will be able to review their questions after the competition, identify their weaknesses, learn from their mistakes, and prepare for the next challenge.
This means that even students who don’t win become better mathematicians.
Parents, teachers, school owners, and students should begin preparing immediately.
The questions will be tough and the competition will be fierce.
Registration is now open:

Please share this with every child, parent, teacher, school owner, principal, and education stakeholder you know.
Let’s make academic excellence prestigious again.

Live long enough
@dyceoffixial Please Finidi did nothing wrong. Blame your myopic players with overbloated egos, lack of foresight. Well it's their career & not mine.
On this day, 11th June 2026, the first batch of our Nationals who are being evacuated from South Africa as a result of the Xenophobic attacks against African Migrants taking place in that country, will touch down on Nigerian Soil.
This Evacuation of imperiled Nigerian citizens who consider their lives at risk by continued stay in South Africa, has been ordered by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in line with the Citizen Diplomacy imperatives of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The evacuation operation is undertaken by Air Peace Airlines and funded by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
There are 262 Nigerian Nationals and 3 officials on board the Aircraft in addition to the airline crew, and the evacuation flight departed this morning from Oliver Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg.
The Honorable Minister of State of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, will be at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, to receive the returnees on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria as I am currently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to finalize modalities for the transfer of over 100 Nigerian Prisoners who are languishing in Kaliti and AbaSamuel Prisons, Addis Ababa , to return home to Nigeria for the remainder of their terms. Four of those prisoners have already died in the Prisons as a result of health challenges and other factors and we cannot afford to lose any more.
It will be a highly emotionally charged atmosphere as our traumatized citizens being evacuated from South Africa arrive at their home country today. They have been through a great ordeal, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to assure the public that the Federal Government, through relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies, has put in place the necessary reception and support arrangements for the returnees before they are reunited with their families.
To our returning citizens, I say this to you...' for every wound there is a scar, and every scar tells a story...a story that says 'I have survived'. The price of your peace, and the safety of your children is worth any sacrifices you have to make, or any assets you have to leave behind when fleeing a conflict zone or hate infested environment. Survival is the noblest form of vengeance.
Your Nation is waiting to embrace you with open arms.
In advance, we say, ' Welcome back to the Motherland'!
