@StockSavvyShay Everyone talking about asts and how it's a competitor. They have 10 satellites in orbit. If SpaceX doesn't have room how do they compete. Rocket lab has 12 launches this year they can't catch up even if they buy all launche capacity for every competitor .distant 2nd!
@JoeB87395946@StockSavvyShay You are looking at the traditional style of doing things. That's why you don't see it. They launch skyscraper to space and catch the parts in chopsticks but your right cell towers are the hardest thing to deal with.
@antibearthesis I also see the boring company and Nuralink going in too. Elon had mentioned they made the boring machine lighter. Betting it will fit on starship for the moon. Nuralink with Optimus you can control the robot on a different planet. It is the future!
About 5000 grocery stores in New York. If the government is going to undercut them by 30% I would guess they stop carrying those item's and use the space for profitable items. Then 8.5 million New Yorkers have 5 stores for those items. Food lines and no way to get enough supply to support the 5 stores.
@jasongordo626@herbertong Also vehicle manufacturers, oil companies. When Elon says an autonomous car is a robot with wheels this is what he's talking about.
@DidierArango7@jasongordo626@herbertong Exactly so what incentive is there for someone in any major city to buy a $50,000 dollar insure it and pay extra for parking. Car prices will go down and the manufacturers will pivot but big changes will happen
That still only works short term. The average household has 1.8 to 1.9 cars so let's say 2. Every 1 cybercab can replace 4 vehicles (this is a guess) 95 million personal cars in the US. To replace most with cybercab about 25 million would take 4 years. Used car prices collapse. You can't sell your car if you wanted to so adoption slows. What do you do with all the cars. I'm a Tesla stock buyer I'm just pointing out why the rollout is slower than what most want. Tesla would be brondo in idiocracy. They want to be positive. I see cities getting rid of subways to have cybercab replace them. This is huge but it will take time.
Always unintended consequences . How many people do you know waiting to sell there car to use cybercab. If to many sell used car prices go down and it can shift back to cheaper to own. Mechanics lower prices due to less cars now cheaper to maintain. Why didn't trains and light rail take off in this country? Americans like their cars. This has to shift. I buy Tesla stock I'm not saying it won't work I'm betting it does. I'm just saying the roll out has to be proportional to adoption.
Tesla can scale quickly but vehicle displacement is the larger factor. At full capacity Tesla replaces every taxi,Uber, lift and Wamo in 5 months. It would collapse the market and be blamed for the loss of jobs. A 10% increase in miles compounding every week brings the prices down and 80% of drivers find something else due to the lack of money.
Haven't watched the videos but for power tesla's mega packs and later next year the new solar panel plant will make enough to power 10 million cybercabs in a year and chips another bottle neck but the biggest is vehicle displacement. In under 5 months of full production you replace every cab, uber, lift and Wamo. Those cars will still be on the roads. It's getting the population especially in cities and larger urban areas to realize vehicle ownership is unnecessary. If this does not happen cubercab is the same as light rail in the cities.
@MilkRoadMacro tesla buys the boring company for hyper loops. Makes robots so buys nuralink to help disabled people use the robots. Same x buys tesla to build tunnels on the moon and have robots to do the work. The ev is the smaller portion but fsd and robotaxi will be a value driver.
