@emilystjams I agree with the actual answer - but one hallmark feature of filler is that by the end of the arc - the status quo is unchanged.

Basically no matter what happens by the end everything resets to where it was at the beginning - making it entirely skippable.

@SageKoda @treystar679 @DiscussingFilm @GameSpot If you like very long JRPGs with really technical combat mechanics then 100%. The game is a masterpiece. Think Final Fantasy with a more indepth combat system.

But if it's not your thing it's hard to imagine you'll enjoy it. The story alone is worth it though

So please, going forward keep an open mind and don't automatically jump down everyone's throat immediately. Please shout down the scams and other predatory usages of NFTs, but be sure to keep an open mind, support good usages of the tech, and be kind to eachother!

I hate how #NFTs in gaming are automatically viewed as inherently evil, instead of viewed as a new technology that can be used in a variety of ways - good or bad.

It's stressful because the conversation is so much more nuanced than what we see now

There are shitty, horrible things on the internet. But saying that the internet is evil to gain some kind of moral high ground would be stupid, right? NFT hate is the same exact thing.

Technology is never inherently evil.

@TateOrtena @pettycommajared True, but I think that's just bc the tech is so new, it's the wild west right now. Ultimately the anti-regulation mindset is going to fail. But there are communities & developers working to build solutions that are pro-consumer & regulation friendly that'll ultimately win out.

@TateOrtena @pettycommajared I do think there are other ways this can be used that aren't predatory. Regulation to prevent that from happening would be very welcome. A well-regulated metaverse could actually be the best case scenario here
