On Wednesday we hosted Bahrain Students for a 3rd year. A great opportunity for reflecting and learning for all. The Bahrain students were especially impressed on how our staff navigate the roundabouts. Thank you @NandM_Keele for the opportunity @PaulaPWood@ot_petra@IsitJo
When we're setting goals for a change/improvement project, the standard advice is to think "SMART" (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-based). @artpetty says it's time to move on from SMART goals: we need goals that are 1) learning-orientated (we can only achieve our improvement goals through learning) and 2) impactful (for people who use our services, for our organisations and for our population): https://t.co/crcbeBvHLM
We'll shortly be launching a new survey of the #DistrictNursing#Workforce. This will inform our new and updated report #DistrictNursingToday. It's vital we hear from #DistrictNurses as we'll be using your feedback to argue for greater investment in District Nursing. More soon!
#edi well done @RoseAylingEllis for saying how it is, inclusion matters and compassion should be available for everyone, sending empathy for the family at this very sad time

When a #deaf child is βdoing wellβ at mainstream school, often their support gets taken away or reduced. This is outrageous. It is the support that enables the child to work on an equal platform and thrive. Mainstream #education is exhausting for deaf students to navigate alone.
My friend has been approached to see if anyone knows this person? Please can folk share far and wide and see if we can return these precious medals to this lady or her family

The care for people with a learning disability and autistic people is still not good enough. Despite multiple reviews and reports, people continue to face huge inequalities when accessing and receiving health and social care.
