Narrated Ibn `Umar (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"If the people knew what I know about travelling alone, then nobody would travel alone at night."
(Sahih al-Bukhari 2998, Book 56, Hadith 207)
Abu'd-Darda' (ra) said,
"Shall I tell you about something better for you than sadaqa and fasting? Improving the state of friendship. Hatred is what shaves things away."

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:
"When people cooperate in sin and transgression, they end up hating one another — even if they did it with mutual consent."

Abdullah bin 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with them) reported that:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah accepts a slave's repentance as long as the latter is not on his death bed (that is, before the soul of the dying person reaches the throat)".

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA):
"They said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! When was the Prophethood established for you?' He said: 'While Adam was between (being) soul and body.'"

Imam al-Qurtubi رحمه الله said:
"A person should be gentle when he speaks to people and maintain a cheerful face with both the pious and the impious."

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“The perfection of man is based on these two abilities: Knowledge and love. And the best knowledge is the knowledge about Allāh, and the highest love is the love for His Sake.”
