@CdnAngel1970@Marielaina3@ABDanielleSmith Let’s see you back up any of that with verified proof.
I can show you how NATO and the US has been tracking it
But I’m willing to bet you can show me anything
Ukraine aid isn’t sent without oversight. NATO coordinates deliveries and uses joint oversight boards and controlled trust funds. Donor countries track sensitive weapons and conduct audits. Wartime monitoring has gaps, but claiming there’s “no accountability” is false.
-We have the Central coordination through NSATU
- Joint NATO–Ukraine oversight: The NATO–Ukraine Council and the CAP Joint Management Board jointly identify needs, approve priorities and oversee NATO projects.
- Dedicated trust-fund controls: Money contributed to NATO’s Ukraine Comprehensive Assistance Package is held in a dedicated fund and allocated to approved projects rather than handed to Ukraine as unrestricted cash
- Weapons inventories and serial-number tracking. Including audits
- Inspections and remote verification: Donors use physical inspections where security permits, plus Ukrainian inventory records, photographs, serial-number checks, satellite information and reports of equipment lost or destroyed in combat
- Independent audits: National auditors, inspectors general and parliamentary committees review spending and weapons controls. The United States created a joint Ukraine-oversight structure involving the Defense, State and USAID inspectors general and publishes all findings
You sit on Twitter and get your insight from people who don’t have a fucking clue what you are talking about
Is there still corruption in Ukraine yes, has there been some misuse of funds, definitely.
But this happens in every single conflict around the globe.
It happens here in Canada, it happens in the US, it happened in Afghanistan.
But NATO and the countries supplying aid have cracked down, and Ukraine has taken steps to mitigate the corruption because of this.
@BillysTourism@KimDobranski You will never be able to fix all the drug addicts or homeless. No country has.
I’d like to see Canada adopt a housing first approach like Finland though
@LoongFahtDhong@KimDobranski Actually he’s made multiple statements saying otherwise. But he did say the war would stop at Ukraine “if”the west agrees to his terms
@nedrekk@KimDobranski I’m a CAF veteran and business owner that employs multiple tradesmen across BC and Alberta.
I’ve earned my right to vote.
I voted conservative in the last election and a conservative MP won in my riding.
Ukraine has a ton of corruption, but it’s not one of the most corrupt countries in the world. It’s up there but not even close to Russia. But NATO does recognize there is wide spread corruption and that is why there have been multiple steps to insure transparency and accountability with military and financial aid
Collecting 324billion in tariffs but adding almost 4 trillion isn’t making the country money
That’s 8 percent of the debt added over the time period…
Now he wants to pay 1.2 trillion in dividend checks well that’s only 27% of the collected tariff money.
Something doesn’t add up…
Imagine imposing tariffs, passing the extra cost onto your citizens, collecting the tariff money, then just adding more debt to bribe Americans to keep him in power another two years which will only add to the debt and add to inflation..
