It is always nice to get pictures from the feeder of the cats we have TNVR’d! This was our huge “un-mother’s day” project. We are technically still working on it..as we have two momma cats with kittens in foster. The mommas will return home once the kittens are weaned!!
As we head to the beach and the barbeques this weekend, please take some time to remember and thank those in the armed forces who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our country.
Happy Memorial Day
IFCP had a very busy Mother’s Day trapping week--24 cats TNVR'd. Intake into foster (this week)—2 litters of 3 kittens, a momma cats with 4 kittens, and a momma cat with 6 kittens. Lots of lives saved and lots of lives improved. Thanks to all who support us as we help the cats!
Thanks to everyone who has already purchased a square for our "unmother's day" campaign. We have 4 days left--and 13 empty squares! Can you help us help the community cats? These are some of the momma cats we have helped over the years!! https://t.co/2O1YhyzmNe
We are thankful for the much needed rain in Georgia. Rain, however, is not a friend to momma cats trying to raise their kittens outside. $55 can stop this cycle. https://t.co/2O1YhyzmNe
IFCP is wrapping up TNVR for the month of April. They say that April showers bring May flowers, We hope that April spays help keep the kittens away!!! 58 cats received the gift of spay/neuter this month—bring our total for 2026 to 247!! Remember if you feed them...fix them!
@teresawhitebear We have several tricks we use when going in the kennel to weigh the kittens and leave her food...right now just giving her space...happy that she is taking good care of her kittens!!!
We bring her treats...feed her yummy wet food multiple times a day, but momma cat still hates me!! I'm not taking it personally, she is just doing her job as a protective momma and feeding her babies--which at 3 weeks old are all healthy weight358 g, 378 g and a whopping 425g!!!
@infinitely007@SkinnerPm I'm certain the kittens will be socializable!! Momma cat will go back to her outdoor home once the kittens are weaned--spayed of course. She has a designated feeder who will take care of her!
Mistletoe has been my best momma cat ever!! She made weaning easy for me and her babies. At two months the kittens still try to get a milk snack from her!! Holly had to endure a bath this morning to get one!!
