شركة صينية اسمها iFlytek طورت سبورة ذكية تفهم ما يكتبه المعلم مباشرة.

يكتب المدرس معادلة مثل:

y = x² - 3

وقبل ما يخلص، تظهر للطلاب رسمة ثلاثية الأبعاد للمعادلة.

ولو رسم مثلثًا بشكل سريع، تحوله السبورة تلقائيًا إلى مجسم ثلاثي الأبعاد، يقدر الطلاب يكبرونه ويدورونه ويشوفونه من جميع الزوايا.

الأهم أن التقنية ما تحتاج:

• تطبيق
• جهاز لوحي
• لابتوب
• تدريب معقد للمعلمين

فقط قلم وسبورة تفهم الرياضيات والرسومات لحظة بلحظة.

والتقنية مو مجرد تجربة؛ بحسب المعلومات المنشورة، تم تركيبها في 60 ألف مدرسة داخل 33 مقاطعة صينية، ويستخدمها نحو 160 مليون طالب.

بمعنى أبسط: بينما شركات التعليم التقني تطور تطبيقات تحتاج أجهزة وخطوات كثيرة، الصين دمجت الذكاء الاصطناعي مباشرة داخل السبورة نفسها.

Dhonfanu people… the most jealous, the laziest Maldivians I’ve ever seen in my life. Your council wants to ban Hanifaru Bay just to allow you protests at sea for more land? Pathetic. What you need isn’t more land, what you need is an immediate ban on curry and a gym on the island, right now. Cause you people need to stop sitting around, stuffing your faces and start building yourselves into something.

You don’t even realise how lucky you are. You’re literally living one kilometer from Hanifaru Bay, one of the most incredible sites in the entire country, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Do you understand what that means? If you had the energy, the will, even a shred of ambition, you’d already be millionaires. People from the north, south, central Maldives, they’re all going there, seizing the opportunity, making money. And you? You sit at home. Lazy. Jealous. Waiting for handouts.

This place is not yours to destroy. Reclaiming land here will wipe out the creatures, the biodiversity, the very thing that makes it world famous. It will never be the same again. You want to trade away something priceless for a piece of land? Ridiculous. This is not just Dhonfanu’s backyard, this area belongs to the entire Maldives. Thousands of livelihoods across the country depend on this one place through tourism. And you think 400 people will be allowed to kill it for everyone else? Never.

You don’t need land. You need intelligence. Education. Discipline. You could have the highest quality of life in the Maldives, but you won’t, cause you don’t want to learn. You don’t want to think.

Instead of crying about land and wasting your days eating curry, wake up early. Hit the gym. Build some strength in your body and your mind. Start a business. Bring tourists. Sell tour packages. Use what’s right in front of you. You’re sitting on a goldmine while acting like beggars.

And let’s be clear. This area will not be sacrificed to fulfill your lazy wishes. Hanifaru Bay is too valuable to the nation, to all Maldivians. So stop whining. Stop waiting. Stop blaming. Get off your chairs, stop shoveling curry into your mouths and start working. Cause no one, not the gov, not the rest of this country is going to let 400 people drag Maldives backwards.

MU Manik wasn’t just a founder of Maldives tourism, the industry that transformed our economy and living standards. He was a man who served this nation in both private and public roles, literally until his last breath.

Beyond tourism, he played an immense role in keeping Maldives aviation sector alive, the backbone of our tourism.

I dare say the only reason MACL remained stable, unlike many SOEs reduced to political tools, was because MU Manik was there. He understood the critical importance of aviation to the Maldives and had the courage to stand firm when governments tried to push politically motivated decisions that would damage the sector’s long-term vision. I fear we have no one else who could do that.

Did you see how MACL started making gyms and take on infeasible airport projects right after he left the board? Do you have any idea how important it is to maintain the credit rating and financial strength of MACL to continue to develop and maintain aviation sector which is directly related to tourism and trade?

This man served his nation for almost 80 years. Wasn’t just a key part of introduction of tourism but also safeguarded tourism and aviation industry AND YET, even when news of him being in ICU surfaced, some chose to share mockery and vile words. Maybe those behind these posts, often faceless bots, are ignorant, maybe they simply don’t know.

But fellow Maldivians, remember this: if this is the respect we give to a man who dedicated his entire life to building the Maldives we live in today, striving to make it better, then we should not expect future generations to step forward and sacrifice in the same way.

Why would anyone sacrifice to serve ungrateful people? Why would anyone dedicate their life to a nation that cannot honor its own, to a people who can’t even tell apart those who served them from those who ripped them off?

This is my will and my final message. If these words reach you, know that Israel has succeeded in killing me and silencing my voice. First, peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy and blessings.

Allah knows I gave every effort and all my strength to be a support and a voice for my people, ever since I opened my eyes to life in the alleys and streets of the Jabalia refugee camp. My hope was that Allah would extend my life so I could return with my family and loved ones to our original town of occupied Asqalan (Al-Majdal). But Allah’s will came first, and His decree is final. I have lived through pain in all its details, tasted suffering and loss many times, yet I never once hesitated to convey the truth as it is, without distortion or falsification—so that Allah may bear witness against those who stayed silent, those who accepted our killing, those who choked our breath, and whose hearts were unmoved by the scattered remains of our children and women, doing nothing to stop the massacre that our people have faced for more than a year and a half.

I entrust you with Palestine—the jewel in the crown of the Muslim world, the heartbeat of every free person in this world. I entrust you with its people, with its wronged and innocent children who never had the time to dream or live in safety and peace. Their pure bodies were crushed under thousands of tons of Israeli bombs and missiles, torn apart and scattered across the walls.

I urge you not to let chains silence you, nor borders restrain you. Be bridges toward the liberation of the land and its people, until the sun of dignity and freedom rises over our stolen homeland. I entrust you to take care of my family. I entrust you with my beloved daughter Sham, the light of my eyes, whom I never got the chance to watch grow up as I had dreamed.

I entrust you with my dear son Salah, whom I had wished to support and accompany through life until he grew strong enough to carry my burden and continue the mission.

I entrust you with my beloved mother, whose blessed prayers brought me to where I am, whose supplications were my fortress and whose light guided my path. I pray that Allah grants her strength and rewards her on my behalf with the best of rewards.

I also entrust you with my lifelong companion, my beloved wife, Umm Salah (Bayan), from whom the war separated me for many long days and months. Yet she remained faithful to our bond, steadfast as the trunk of an olive tree that does not bend—patient, trusting in Allah, and carrying the responsibility in my absence with all her strength and faith.

I urge you to stand by them, to be their support after Allah Almighty. If I die, I die steadfast upon my principles. I testify before Allah that I am content with His decree, certain of meeting Him, and assured that what is with Allah is better and everlasting.

O Allah, accept me among the martyrs, forgive my past and future sins, and make my blood a light that illuminates the path of freedom for my people and my family. Forgive me if I have fallen short, and pray for me with mercy, for I kept my promise and never changed or betrayed it.

Do not forget Gaza… And do not forget me in your sincere prayers for forgiveness and acceptance.

Maafanu Sahara area should be given to private parties to build 5 to 10 story parking building, with first 2 floors car park and 3 floors motorcycle parking, with office floors and rooftop restaurants. 6 lifts, 24 hours security, and paid parking if parked for more than 2 hours straight. Every government initiative should focus on the development of the private sector businesses.
The first photo shows how they are going to build the parking now.
The second photo shows how it should be, have to keep a free space so Buses can stop without affecting the movement of traffic.
The third photo found on Google (credit to owner) shows how the government should get the private sector contractor to build this place.
Under CSR can give this area to the private sector under a bidding process, can get private parties to construct and operate so they get the rest of the floors except for the parking floors for 30 to 50 years without rent. The building should also have a small police station, which runs 24/7.

It is shameful and disappointing that our government has chosen to abstain on the UN motion for the protection of civilians and upholding legal and humanitarian obligations in Gaza.

60,000 people, mostly women and children have been killed already, an entire population is being confined and starved to death, and we are refusing to take a stand.

This is a tragic reversal of our anti-colonial legacy. In fact, not only are we standing silent as Mr Netanyahu annihilates an entire nation, we are cheering on as his government attacks Iran and assassinates its leadership in flagrant violation of its sovereignty and complete contravention of all international norms.

How can we, as a nation, just abandon the principles of our constitution, and the values of our freedom struggle that led the way for an international arena based on peace and humanity?

There is no justification for this.
True global leadership demands the courage to defend justice, India has shown this courage unfailingly in the past.

Former SG of the @MaldivesFA Shah Ismail has criticised @FIFAcom Member Assoc. rep Ahmed Harraz for proposing amendments to the FAM Statutes that could push the #Maldives back by eighteen years.
