Trying to be economical with using electricity, so using wind and solar power to dry washing! Today was a struggle, I was slapped in the face a few times, but the washing dried very quickly in the wind!

Credit where credit is due - I went online this morning to claim my pension. Within 5 minutes DWP were on the phone telling me what I'd get each week, when my first payment would be and then the next 4 weekly payment! I've only ever heard of delays with DWP, but not today!

@poloandsons I aint listening to anymore lies. Problem with this policy is that the energy is mostly coming from Scotland and then they charge Scotland more than any other area to use the power that we've supplied. We need to take control of this into our own hands

2lb of strawberries and 2lb of sugar and we have made the first batch of strawberry jam. My jam is a hit or miss, it either sets or its runny. Normally I dont bother but heard him offering his brother some, so I hope this batch is OK! Hubby is quite happy to pour it or slice it!
