"SIN REWARDS SHAME."
David took Betsheba to his house as his wife, and she bore him a son. Uriah's revenge was prevented by his death, but the birth of the child so soon after the marriage published the crime. Sin will be ashamed. Sin seems like a comfortable place but it is a terrible thing for human kind.
This was nothing new for David. He had added wives before, so now he simply added another. The truth is if one wife is not enough, hundreds won't satisfy a sinful heart, In adding wives unto himself, David did a shameful thing. He thought he was enjoying it by following his heart. But he was putting himself in the bondage.
Whenever we're tempted by sweetness of sin let's remember it's shame. Sin is such a terrible thing to human race, sin brings condemnation to us unless we repent. In covering our sin we're creating a suitable nourishment for our eternal death. Sin won't satisfy us, but putting us in grief, unhappiness and troubles, things that we're never created to experience.
#OurCall😊: Obedience to God, brings happiness but sin brings shame. Let's choose God's side.
In the spirit of the Sabbath, let us extend kindness and love to all those around us. Reach out to your family, friends, and neighbors with a warm smile or a thoughtful gesture. Together, we can create a ripple of positivity that spreads far and wide.

ON THE STATE OF HUMAN SEXUALITY
A few years ago I posted an article titled, “The Apocalypse of Human Sexuality.” I hesitated to share the piece because I wondered if it was an exaggeration. I mean, the title alone seemed a little extreme. Well, now I’m convinced the article was an underestimation of how truly grave the situation is.
Are you paying attention to where we humans are with sex?
In just a few short years we have gone from the threat of sexual apocalypse to a nightmarish dystopian landscape of sexual wreckage, from which any significant return seems impossible at this point. It appears we will now have to eat the bitter harvest we have sown. A brutal payback cycle will now be unleashed upon us for the horrific sin of separating sex from love, for the terrible malfeasance of disintegrating the nuclear family, and for the grotesque crime of pornofying the minds of an entire generation of children. A few terrifying facts will suffice for a Twitter level assessment:
1. The average age at which boys now begin viewing porn I nine.
2. German researchers report after examining MRI scans of 64 healthy men that less gray matter was found in the areas of their brains associated with motivation and reward responses.
3. As a result of repeatedly viewing extreme and unrealistic sexual imagery, a growing number of young men now report that they cannot perform sexually with a real live woman.
4. Porn has become so normalized to the growing up process that a Barna survey showed that many teens find porn so unproblematic that they see it as less of a moral problem than overeating and not recycling.
5. The Washington Post reports: “The science is now beyond dispute” that porn has become a full-on “public health crisis,” meaning it is generating a cascade of mental and physical ailments that are taxing the entire economic system and breaking down the social structure.
6. Many young woman now fear they will never get married and have children due to the fact that young men are so stunted and animalized in their sexual development that they see no reason for marriage.
7. It is now common relational parlance for young people to speak of those who express a desire for something more than casual sex as weak, needy, clingy simps. It is uncool to want love rather than just recreational sex.
8. So many young adults are choosing not to marry and bear children, and so many of those who do want to marry can’t find anyone with whom to venture into lifelong love, that we are faced with an inevitable population implosion over the next few decades, which will produce an elderly population with an insufficient young adult population to sustain the economy and social structure.
9. Now that we have trained young men in the habit of depersonalized sex void of love—normalizing the objectification of the female form as merely a functional tool for unilateral male gratification—money-making AI and robotics corporations are preparing to cash in on our moral illness by offering to the world lifelike sex dolls, so that many men will find marriage and reproduction unnecessary. Forbes Magazine reports that the first “sex-dolls brothel” has opened in Spain and “many predict that sex-robots tourism” is “soon to follow.”
10. Among other causal factors, the increased lack of male-female pairing for the formation of loving family units, coupled with the body-image crisis driven by social media and the promotional factor of the advertising industry’s willingness to cash in on anything no matter how detrimental, sexual dysphoria, especially among youth, is on the rise.
All the while, we are sacrificing to Moloch—the god of lust and money to whom children are sacrificed—something of extreme beauty and meaning. And what is that?
Written deep within human psychology and physiology is a wondrous narrative authored by our Maker:
Once upon a time, and time after time, generation after generation, a man and a woman are meant to fall in love. As complimentary counterparts they act on their love by making an exclusive lifelong commitment called marriage. Two whole persons, not merely two bodies, are wedded together as one. As two halves of a single reproductive masterpiece, they have children. Those children are the incarnation of their love for one another, part mom, part dad. They are the next generation of self-giving lovers. The children grow up with the security of witnessing the love of mom and dad for one another. They go through puberty with their sexuality protected and preserved for their own respective complimentary counterparts. They, too, like their parents, fall in love. They get married, have kids, raise them to love and be loved, and the glorious life-giving cycle repeats.
What an incredibly happy story!
Why, in the name of all that is sacred and lovely, would we give up on it?
