The asymmetry is obvious to anyone not committed to the ideology. A woman competing on a men’s team is almost always at a physical disadvantage—smaller frame, lower muscle mass, reduced power and speed. She isn’t taking a roster spot from a more qualified male athlete or rewriting the competitive landscape.
A man competing in a women’s category does the opposite: he brings retained male physiological advantages into a division created precisely to exclude them. That’s why the two situations are not equivalent, no matter how many cartoons try to pretend they are.

It’s not complicated.

Gay people have objectively been safest in Western (largely white) countries. The worst they’ve generally faced there in recent decades is criticism, social pushback, or mean words. In large parts of the Middle East, Africa, and under strict Islamic law, the outcome has been prison, lashings, being thrown off buildings, or death. That’s not opinion, it’s the legal and documented reality.

Pretending those differences don’t exist just to avoid hurting feelings is peak brain-dead. Disliking ideologies or cultures that actively oppress gays isn’t the same as being Hitler. It’s noticing which societies allow you to live and which ones don’t.
