As Prime Minister Netanyahu said, this is “a major achievement for the State of Israel.” As President Joseph Aoun noted, it is “the first step on the path to restoring Lebanon’s sovereignty.”

Hezbollah’s continued threats to undermine this progress only reinforce the need for the Iranian regime’s proxy to be disarmed and dismantled without compromise.

200 meters of Hezbollah terror infrastructure buried more than 25 meters underground.

Built with Iranian support, this underground complex housed hundreds of lethal weapons, four missile launch shafts aimed at Israel, 12 military operational rooms, living quarters for terrorists, and caches of anti-tank missiles, explosives, and UAVs.

Just 6 kilometers from Israel's border, this is the military stronghold Hezbollah has built in southern Lebanon.

Millions of Israelis have been forced into bomb shelters as the Iranian terror regime attacks Israel directly and through its terrorist proxies - Hezbollah in Lebanon and Houthis in Yemen.

These are civilians, families, children and elderly, trying to get through their day under the threat of missile attacks.

Today's terror attack, later praised by Hamas, was not an isolated incident.

Since March, more than 1,000 terror attacks have been thwarted and 16 attacks have been carried out against Israelis.

Behind every statistic is a deliberate attempt to murder innocent people.

The threat is constant. So is Israel's determination to defeat it.

Israel remains committed to allowing and facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, including medicines and medical equipment.

The figures speak for themselves: since the beginning of the year, more than 10,000 pallets of medicines and medical supplies have been approved through the UN2720 mechanism, which is operated in cooperation with UNOPS, for the UN and international organizations.

In practice, however, UN agencies and international organizations have coordinated and brought in only approximately 3,000 pallets.

If there is a need for additional supplies, the mechanism to bring them in already exists. The approvals have been granted, and it is now up to the UN and international organizations to utilize the approvals they have requested and received.

While some choose to promote claims of Israeli restrictions, the facts tell a different story: the approvals are in place, and their implementation depends on coordination by the organizations that requested them.

We will continue to work with our partners in the international community to coordinate solutions.

The terror organization's continued militarization of Lebanon has turned civilian communities and international peacekeepers into targets and placed the entire region at risk.

The Government of Lebanon has an obligation under UN Security Council resolutions to ensure Hezbollah's disarmament and the complete removal of its military infrastructure from Lebanon.

Israel expresses its condolences to the family of the victim and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.

Hezbollah leader Na'im Qassem's rejection of the ceasefire and rocket interceptions over Kiryat Shmona tell the story: Hezbollah continues to attack Israel and destabilize the region.

The damage to a Christian religious site is not an isolated incident. It is the policy of a terrorist organization that operates from populated areas and endangers all segments of Lebanese society regardless of religion, sect, or community.

As Iran's most powerful proxy, Hezbollah advances Tehran's interests at the expense of the Lebanese people. It uses Lebanese territory and its population as shields for its military operations.

🇮🇱💝🎉 CELEBRATING THE 78TH ANNIVERSARY OF ISRAEL'S INDEPENDENCE DAY

💝 A ceremony commemorating the 78th anniversary of Israel’s Independence Day was held in Hanoi on June 3.

💖 Looking back over the past 78 years, we see the remarkable journey of a nation that transformed itself from a resource-poor country in the desert into a global leader in technology and innovation. Many of Israel’s friends in Vietnam have shared in this journey, offering their congratulations and expressing confidence in the future.

💖 The celebration also reflected on the 33-year relationship between Israel and Vietnam. With the launch of direct flights, the signing of the VIFTA agreement, and bilateral trade reaching USD 4 billion, business cooperation and people-to-people exchanges are flourishing. Israel–Vietnam relations are expected to continue strengthening in the years ahead.

💖 Guests at the celebration were introduced to Israeli culture and the artistic exchange between the two countries through performances by students from Nguyen Dinh Chieu Primary and Secondary School in Hanoi, as well as students from Hanoi College of Arts.

👏 We believe that Israel will continue moving forward with strength, resilience, and determination on the road ahead.
