ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī mentioned in al-Ghunyah li-Ṭālibī Ṭarīq al-Ḥaqq: “The doctrines of the (Shiʿa) Rāfiḍah have been likened to Judaism. Al-Shaʿbī said: ‘Love of the (Shiʿa) Rāfiḍah is love of the Jews.’

The Jews said: ‘The Imāmate is not valid except for a man from the House of Dāwūd,’ while the Rāfiḍah said: ‘The Imāmate is not valid except for a man from the descendants of ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib.’

The Jews said: ‘There is no jihād in the path of Allah until the Masīḥ al-Dajjāl emerges and [something] descends from heaven,’ while the Rāfiḍah said: ‘There is no jihād in the path of Allah until the Mahdī emerges and a caller calls out from heaven.’

The Jews delay the Maghrib prayer until the stars become intermingled, and likewise the Rāfiḍah delay it.
The Jews deviate somewhat from the qiblah, and likewise the Rāfiḍah.

The Jews sway in the prayer, and likewise the Rāfiḍah.
The Jews let their garments hang down in the prayer, and likewise the Rāfiḍah.

The Jews deem the blood of a Muslim lawful, and likewise the Rāfiḍah.

The Jews do not consider there to be a waiting period [ʿiddah] upon women, and likewise the Rāfiḍah.

The Jews do not regard a threefold divorce as anything, and likewise the Rāfiḍah.

The Jews altered the Torah, and likewise the Rāfiḍah altered the Qurʾān, because they claimed that the Qurʾān was changed and substituted, that its arrangement and ordering were altered, that it was diverted from the form upon which it was revealed, that it was recited in forms not authentically established from the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him, and that material had been removed from it and added to it.

The Jews hate Jibrīl and say: ‘He is our enemy among the angels.’ Likewise, a group among the Rāfiḍah say that Jibrīl mistakenly delivered the revelation to Muḥammad peace be upon him, whereas he had actually been sent to ʿAlī (r.a).

They have lied; may destruction be upon them until the end of time.”

*Wakati bora wa swalah*

*Swali:* Je, bora ni kuswali vipindi vitano vya swalah mwanzoni mwa wakati au mwishoni mwake?

*Jibu:* Bora ni kuswali swalah tano mwanzoni mwa wakati isipokuwa ´Ishaa. Kuichelewesha mpaka theluthi ya wakati ndio bora muda wa kuwa jambo hilo haliwatii uzito maamuma. Ikiwa jambo hilo linawatia zito au linawatia uzito baadhi yao, basi kuiswali mwanzoni mwa wakati. Kwa sababu Mtume (Swalla Allaahu ´alayhi wa sallam) aliichelewesha ´Ishaa mpaka ukapita sehemu kubwa ya usiku. Akasema (Swalla Allaahu ´alayhi wa sallam):

“Huu ndio wakati wake kama isingelikuwa kuwatia uzito ummah wangu.”[1]

Jaabir (Radhiya Allaahu ´anh) amesema:

“Alikuwa (Swalla Allaahu ´alayhi wa sallam) akiwaona wamekusanyika, basi anaharakisha, akiwaona wanajivuta, basi anachelewesha.”[2]

Vilevile inacheleweshwa Dhuhr wakati wa jua kali. Mtume (Swalla Allaahu ´alayhi wa sallam) amesema:

“Hakika joto kali unatokamana na mvuke wa Jahannam. Kukiwa na joto kali basi pateni baridi kwa swalah.”[3]
