30 years ago to date, I sent my acceptance to @MITChemE for PhD. Little did I know that I would end up in Bob Langer’s lab. Bob’s mentorship has been a gift of a lifetime. Grad students: find an advisor whose mentorship is not limited to research and doesn’t end with graduation.
Very proud to be part of this publication by the Bussolati lab - "Surface Marker Expression in Small and Medium/Large Mesenchymal Stromal Cell-Derived #ExtracellularVesicles in Naive or Apoptotic Condition Using Orthogonal Techniques."

I’ll say it again:
Rapid tests have the same accuracy in asymptomatics as symptomatics
If someone says they are less sensitive to detect infectious people who are asymptomatic, they are wrong
The test does not care about your symptoms, it cares about how much virus you have
Adding our voice to the choir, we wrote that “Detecting infectiousness quickly should be a priority, and at-home tests ought to be optimal for this job”.
