Christos Tzolis to Arsenal? I think he's a very talented player with plenty of potential, but I still believe he needs more time to develop before becoming our long-term solution on the left wing.
I'm not disrespecting the Belgian league, but for that position I was hoping Arsenal would target an established world-class name like Vinícius Jr. or Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while bringing in Tzolis as a player to grow into the role. That would probably also mean moving on from Martinelli.
As for the "Greek players don't succeed at Arsenal" argument, I'm not convinced it's fair. Mavropanos and Sokratis had mixed spells, but every player deserves to be judged on their own qualities. Tzolis should be judged by what he does in an Arsenal shirt, not by those who came before him.
Thoughts?
🚨✅️Moment when England scored first, another sportsbook graded his bet as a loss, then Stake came through and paid him thus turning the situation into a huge win. 👏🤝
🥶 Christos Tzolis – Player Profile
⚡ Age: 24
⚡ Nationality: Greece 🇬🇷
⚡ Height: 1.79m
⚡ Position: Left winger (can also play on the right or as a forward)
If this move is completed, Arsenal won't just be signing another winger—they'll be signing one of Europe's most productive wide forwards over the past two seasons.
🚨🔥Arsenal Transfer news: According @JacobsBen
Arsenal set to bid for Morgan Rogers after holding talks with both the player and Aston Villa. Club-to-club negotiations expected to accelerate following the World Cup.
Arsenal also continue to explore Julian Alvarez. Player has made no secret of his desire to join Barcelona, but Andrea Berta is also in contact with former club Atletico Madrid. Although Atletico Madrid don't wish to sell, they are currently more inclined to do business with a non-La Liga rival. Barcelona haven't ruled out making a new bid, though. There are provisions for select #UCL clubs to secure Alvarez for less than €500m clause.
Bournemouth's Junior Kroupi is another profile on Arsenal's list, and appreciated by Spurs and several other top clubs. Bournemouth hoping to keep for at least another season.
Arsenal's Bradley Barcola appreciation remains, but #LFC more active currently. PSG could still become open to a sale this summer, as previously reported.🔴
🚨🤝England scored the first goal. Every other sportsbook settled it as a loss, but Stake stepped in with an instant tip. What a move. 💪🏾
I'm sticking with stake man!
Arsenal and Club Brugge are almost reaching an agreement for Christos Tzolis. 🇬🇷
The deal is valued at £35m, a record net fee in history for a Greek footballer.
Personal terms not yet reached but not seen as an obstacle as the player is keen on the move.
🚨ℹ️Aston Villa have informed Arsenal that the club is demanding a price of £60M for the transfer of English defender Ezri Konsa (28) in this summer transfer window.
Arsenal believe the player is worth around £35M. [@Telegraph ]

🚨💔Wayne Rooney Blasts Thomas Tuchel's tactics vs Argentina
"I think Thomas Tuchel got this one wrong. England were on top, but instead of staying aggressive, they retreated into their shell. Against Argentina, that's asking for trouble."
"The game was crying out for pace. Bukayo Saka and Marcus Rashford should have been introduced much earlier. They would've stretched Argentina, forced them back, and given England an outlet on the counter."
"Instead, England became too defensive. They stopped asking questions of Argentina and started protecting a result.
At World Cup level, that's a dangerous mentality."
"You don't beat teams like Argentina by inviting pressure. You beat them by being brave. I think Tuchel's substitutions and game management ultimately cost England a place in the final."
