@politicalmath Maybe ask early so it's not as big of a deal to break up before it gets serious?
I know several childless couples because the woman didn't want kids and the man thought she would change her mind. They don't. Unless their bestie has a kid then sometimes they do.
@xwanyex They define any work as property manager work or maintenance work. Even if the land lord is doing it personally instead of hiring it out. It becomes outside of the scope of "land lord" which is defined only as owning the property.
@larissaphillip All the boomers I knew really pushed that having kids is a bad thing. If you don't work all the time it's a waste of your potential. A boomer tried to nudge her great granddaughter to abort recently because she already has two kids and that's plenty.
@hashtagdabstar@KirscheVerstahl@Devon_Eriksen_ Usually a vandal does this repeatedly. They go through an area destroying mailboxes. Then when the mail boxes are fixed they do it again. It's an endless loop. So by the time someone decides to concrete it, there is a clear pattern.
@jtregunna@BucMon21 My school had a policy to primarily punish the kid who hit back. The reasoning was the kid that started a fight likely had a behavioral disorder but the kid responding should have had self control. If nobody defended themselves then no one was punished for hitting.
@MrsMassacre I went there in the 90s once. It was a long unmoving traffic jam. We didn't get to see Old Faithful. So yeah, I thought that's what it's like.
@Jaklgreen@RealDaveGuttman@xevekiah Basically they said his chest pain was heart burn from indigestion and blamed the other symptoms on him having anxiety due to the sudden chest pain. And they assured him he was too young to be having a heart attack at 42.
@Jaklgreen@RealDaveGuttman@xevekiah My father went into the ER with all the signs of a heart attack. He wasn't even able to walk due to weakness and was rolled in with a wheel chair dripping in sweat. They told him it was anxiety and sent him home. He died because of them not taking him seriously.
The reason why RAM has become four times more expensive is that a huge amount of RAM that has not yet been produced was purchased with non-existent money to be installed in GPUs that also have not yet been produced, in order to place them in data centers that have not yet been built, powered by infrastructure that may never appear, to satisfy demand that does not actually exist and to obtain profit that is mathematically impossible.
9 months ago Joe Rogan quietly dropped one of the most shocking food revelations ever on his podcast… and with RFK Jr. now at HHS, this old clip is suddenly everywhere again.
February 22, 2025 – JRE #2277 with Woody Harrelson.
Joe pulls up an independent lab report on Girl Scout cookies and starts reading the actual numbers out loud:
- 100% tested positive for glyphosate (the main chemical in Roundup)
- Thin Mints had the highest level: 111 parts per billion
96% contained lead
- 88% contained arsenic, cadmium, or mercury
- One variety showed 27,500 ppb aluminum and lead 42× higher than California’s strict children’s limit
Woody: “You could find the same thing in most of the American diet.”
Joe: “The fact that 100% have glyphosate is insane… maybe we should change the food safety standards themselves.”
That episode sparked a class-action lawsuit, got a stunned reaction from Elon, and now – with real change finally possible in Washington – parents are rediscovering it in droves.
Watch the full 3-minute moment for yourself (sound on – their reactions say everything).
Would you still buy these knowing the lab results?
